Hello All,
I was pondering recently if anyone keeps insects with their pythons? I know other reptiles are a no go and anything parasitic obviously would be pointless, however what would the likelihood of keeping a small python in a large enclosure with a few Stick Insects? The Eucalypt Oil shouldn't be an issue as they are all natives, and it would be cool to house both in the same space if possible for them to cohabitate.
As long as they have room to avoid each other and don't share illnesses, could this be an option? Insects seem versatile, so the standard python setup should be adequate with a few fresh leaves in a secure tub of water.
I imagine the risk of a python snacking on bugs would be low and I can't honestly see the Insects attacking a python either, however I have been wrong in my theories before.
Thoughts? Yay or Nay...
