it costs me about $10 a week breeding my own for 16 snakes + lacey+ crocodiles, but if i was buying it would cost me about $80, pet shop prices would be about $160 a week....

I did the sums for my 7 pythons and I pay $882.00 per year, living in darwin the cost for rats is bloody exspencive but thats what ya get if you want to keep something that doesn't eat dog food. its alot cheaper if you think about it this way they only each once every week - month so its not much really. and yes you can save heeps of monie on breeding your own but you still need to spend monie to save monie.

l dont care how much it costs , its money the ex wife cant get her hands on . Selling a few hatchies each year helps pay for rat food and of course MORE SNAKES .
