Nice beasties guys. A highly underrated species in my opinion. Apart from the marvellous story about their introduction into captivity, and the huge success JW has had establishing them, I was at first a bit indifferent to them as an ornamental snake.

But... I obtained a pair from John last year, and I have to say I now regard them as highly as the best Morelia species in the looks department. True, they all look pretty similar, but there is something really special about them.

And you never know, when checking them at night, if they're going to be in their 'silver' phase.

I think their uniformity appeals to me because no one can say 'mine are better than yours...' Perhaps this is why they don't enjoy the profile such a rare species should...
