Hello everybody,

I´m a german student, who stayed in Australia with a workingholiday-visa for 10 months. In this time I found some interesting reptiles and would like to know, which species they are.

At first I´d like to know, if this snake is the common green tree snake (Dendrelaphis punctulata)! Is my id correct?

I found it in Kuranda, Queensland in April, 18 of 2010.

Thanks in advance and best regards,
Mario

Very beautiful snake and a very gorgeous shot too! Any more you feel kind enough to share? :)

Thank you very much for your confirmations! :)

Unfortunately I have no more pics of Australian snakes, but many more of other lizards etc.! The only other snake I saw in wildlife was one red-bellied black snake. But I didnt had the opportunity to take a picture.

Best regards, Mario

It's a pleasure Mario. Happy to confirm. It was a good guess on your part.
By the way, it's a good clear photo, which makes our job so much easier.
