As it states... does the reduced black pigmentation or the bright red colouration make a hypo bredli hypo? I have a bredli with some black around the yellow blotches on the posterior end, but is overall bright red... really quite a striking snake.

Hypomelanistic is a lack of black pigmentation, it doesn't necessarily have no black just less than average as I understand

Hypomelanistic means 'reduced' black pigment. Amellanistic means none. While most hypos will be a brighter red this is not what makes a Bredli hypo. There are varying degrees of hypo Bredli.
