therefore by petas charter they wont fight against rabbits in aust or cane toads etc

issues with some pest animals is the HOW of control...

but i take issue with our "ethical" way....
to be honest.... i think shooting/hunting is more ethical than how we raise/breed/kill food animals

i agree with you there forensic i dont eat bought meat often, mostly I eat what i shoot that way i know it died quick and clean and wasn't exposed to chemicals or anything like that.
Rocky i believe you have dragons whats wrong with them as pets i personaly love dragons. they are native have real personality and they are quiet and dont make to much of a mess. whered you get the idea of cows as pets cows are meat milk and the leather jacket im wearing not pets same goes for sheep and pigs. The worst a cow would do is block traffic or eat sombodys plant a cat kills possums, native birds and native rodents and blues if we got rid of cats and dogs we get bluies and gekos back in victorian suburbs maybe even some snakes thatd rule.

It all comes down to preference. There are plenty of bluies and Geckos in Sydney. Alot of people don't like or want a dragon as a pet. they want something they can call over to them, take for a walk, play with, something that they wont have to worry about their children dropping on the floor. Thats where dogs and cats come in. You don't have any hunting dogs?

hell no hunting dog are an evil idea y would you sic a dog on a rabbit or fox it would ruin the meat or pelt not to mention they always get in the way of your shots im more of a sniper in that regard i like to sit about a hundred meters aways from a warren and pick em off when they come out or i shoot a bunny slit its throat and hang it in a tree down wind and wait for the foxes to come and sit under it and then i'll shoot em while they work out how to get the rabbit down. 99.9% of the time they probably dont even know they are dead

It is up to an individual how much empathy they have for differant types of animals, most ppl dont think about it and just go along with whatever is traditional. There is no real correct answer although it would be very hard to argue that the life of a domestic cat has more value than that of a domestic rat. I think most ppl place higher value on intellegent animals that can socialise with humans, show emotion and play. Comaparitivey stupid animals like fish and snakes generally dont get a high rating with most ppl.

well if it was legal, and we supported the death penalty in OZ, and if we had bigggggg enough snakes to be able to do it, then i wouldnt have a problem feeding some life time inmates to snakes either................. of course you would have to tap them on the head first or gas them what ever .maybe that could be done by the victims/or families of the victims...............would make a great reality show now wouldnt it ........nature at its best ...........lovely reptiles getting rid of scum and in return you could use the crap as compost for our parks ....................

Cool If all animals are equal I suppose no one who eats meat can complain if I start eating whales, snakes, endangered species or humans I suppose you'd have no more trouble using snakes rather than rodents to feed your pets
