After reading some other threads and realising a lot of you are trippers, in more than one sense of the word, lol,
It got me thinking how many of you go to bush doofs?
Its a good place to chill out for the weekend, they are always a million miles out of town, in some of the most beautiful places ive ever seen, theres always lots to look at and ya always see tonnes of wildlife.
though, i dare say the loud music isnt stunning for the animals... lucky they dont happen very often.
im usually too incapacitated to operate a camera, but heres some shots: =D

My good friend just staged her own Bush Doof for her 30th birthday. It was in Warrandyte in the outer suburbs of melbourne at a camp site on the Yarra River. It was amazing, we bought lilos, went surfing down the rapids, obviously danced the nights away (not much camping was done lol). We had a huge spotlight and went walking around the bush, but as you said i think all the local wildlife fled the Trance scene hahahaha.

Noise is pollution too - and doing it in a quiet native forest is probably as destructive as temporarily chopping it down.

Poor animals :(

bush doofs are lame the only doof i like to hear is the sound of a bunny/fox/feral hitting the ground after a perfect heart lung shot.

If you've got good hearing you'll get a 'doof' 'doof' sound.... One when the bullet pierces the fleshy exterior surrounding the heart and lungs and two when the fluffy bunny rabbits slumps on to the ground.

oooh!.:). crazy pants,"check"..,facepaint,"check".,.bus fare."check"....ok im ready! ;)

For one night of fun? Its much the same as a family going camping and having kids screaming..... parents yelling at the kids etc.

I can assure you we are all very concientious of leaving the site as we found it.

BAHAHAHAHA!

NO!!!

Not everyone is conscientious - sorry Jay...

I'm not anti these things any more than I am anti 4WDing through forests or motorcross....

However - I'm just adding to the list of things we humans do that totally disrupts, destructs and destroys our wonderful native environment - albeit in the name of fun!

Meh the amount of people who go
missing at earthcore every year is enough to turn me off them . Jay will vouch I'm a rave junkie

I went to a bush doof last year stopped at mcdonalds on the way home and sat on there Ronald mcdonald chair for about two hours talking to Ronald

We have video footage somewhere of me doing it .......

Children say no to drugs

With every step someone takes in a bit of native bush, 3 native animals drop dead and 7 trees fall over. Every time a bit of music is played, or a car is driven through the bush, you times these figures by 13 and that's the price you pay for a bit of fun, can't you see fun is killing planet earth!
Damn greenies!

I'm the fun police - I totally don't want any teen to have fun ever :)

Every time someone swears - a fairy dies too - Jay better make sure no one swears ;)
