we put our tree up on the 1st Dec miss now 3 comes home from daycare and says* wow boootiful tree .....would me more bootiful if there were presents for me to open under it*

thankfully she was giving her nana a cuddle then so i was fre to leave the room and giggle

her grand dad has wrapped some sweets up and put them in a couple of lil boxes for her to find tomorrow :).......so much for me teaching her to not touch anything under the tree till christmas morning

That's a priceless story. Your daughter's lucky.

Are you ever going to tell her?

I have no doubt when she is 14 or 15 and way over the Santa phenomenon I may recount the story over a Chrissie barbecue and we can laugh about it. Or SHE can anyway ;)

Kids are WAY to smart for their own good. Sounds like she has Mum and Nana wrapped around her little finger.!!! Funny how lots of people complain about the commercialisation of Christmas and the way it's been done to death and it's all just a big cash in....that may be true on paper; but I am not a religious man by any means; but this time of year is magical when you have kids- every trip to the shops is an experience with them in tow- the Christmas lights on houses at night, the TV specials that come on; plus Ive been collecting those oldschool Xmas shows- remember the ones with the puppets that we used to watch as kids, with the talking snowmen and rosie cheeked characters ? My little girl loves them. So as commerical as Xmas may be, it's alaso a special time and a fun month if you let the kids enjoy it- how can you not, right ... !?

If you could get Santy to sit on a Hog I recon she'd come around ;)

Hahaha! she's scared of that too!!! "Its too loud mummy!" She's alright on it when its not going, but as soon as it starts its all over!

Hah yep mine hates the noise...but she still likes sitting on it and points out every Harley on the road ........ and if she's not sure of the make she asks "is that a Harley, Daddy or a pussy bike?" Chip off the old block..

Hahaha, Matilda calls them poof (no offence at all to anyone that may be that way inclined, there is a very longwinded story behind it) bikes! lol. Not so good when theres one parked out the front of a church when a funeral is on, but a few of the guests had a chuckle!!!
