Moved my snake into a bigger thank , wet sock.

Picked my Lizard up and petted it

nice wet sock, i've heard people eat them.
 
i liked the story and pictures, however the title was very misleading.....or was it a plot twist, to in the end have the empty cage become a cage with plants in it?
 
That lizard has a huge head, looks like a bobble head hahaha.

Cool file snake! How does their bite compare to other snakes?

Edit: Just noticed he's not actually biting you. Is he?
 
I found a breeding ball of them downstream from the Howard Springs Nature Park (before the water was all sucked out of the aquifer and it became a bacteria pit). I lifted the whole lot, 7 in the ball I thought but not easy to tell! They just carried on with the business and after my students had had a good look I put them back.
I've picked up heaps and never had one attempt to bite. (they taste pretty good, not like chicken).
