how do you guys do it?
I was told to put it in a container with a hole and they would hatch.
Im not sure how long it takes,
but its been 2 hours.

Any other/quicker ways?

You aren't in Sydney and bought it from Pet Care 2000 at Taren Point did you? If so, it will never hatch. They either sell tubs of dead flys, or old larvae out of the fridge that won't hatch. I'm going to let them know what I think!

But it depends on how fresh the larvae are I think.

no no it came from pisces.
It was kept in a freezer, should it be in a fridge or freezer?
Any way of speeding it up?

thanks heaps!
Looks like im in to wait a couple of days for them to hatch :)

yeh keep them in the fridge instead.

when you need them, take them out of the fridge and they should hatch in a day or two at room temp. faster at warmer temps.

what are you feeding them too?

my frogs, they havent hatched yet!
Im desperate for food, what else can i use? crickets seem to be the way to go.

The frozen ones will never hatch, They are dead. You need to specify live when you purchase them, then they take 1-3 days at 28 C.

ok, when i got them it said "Fly larvae-deactivated"
Or fly larvae live
...
I suupose i was meant to get the live ones?
Damnit.

thankyou so much, i feel quite stupid.
Will get the right ones tomorrow.

thanks again

Just mix it in with your beardies salads.
