Australian Tiger Beetles?

hi my friend wants to get an invertebrate as a pet and he wants me to find him a vicious but cheap one.
I was thinking along the lines of either a Praying Mantis or a Scorpion but then i saw a video about a Tiger Beetle i did some research and apparently they live in Australia just wondering if anybody knows where i could find one in Sydney?
