I was thinking of buying a B & G jungle and while doing some research and looking at pics it seems that the snakes lose there colour as they age.

is this true? pictures of your B & G will be appreciated to.

G'day fidzy,

Most snakes "peak" in colouration between 1 and 3 years old. After that, the colours tend to dull, and the pattern loses its distinction. That's not to say that some old snakes don't look absolutely brilliant, but they very rarely look as good as younger animals.

yeah i thought so, it looked like the yellow in adult B & G tends to become much darker which means they dont look as good, they are still beautiful snakes though

can ppl please post pics of the jungles
