Baby beardie shedding

What age do baby beardies start to shed ? Mine is 5-6 weeks old and seems to be shedding now ...

Yep that's completely normal, it all depends on the feeding patterns.

Yep, the more you feed them, the faster they grow, the more often they shed.

Mine often gave me a laugh with the way their shed was coming off, looked like bad hair days, etc etc. You can even get full hand pieces or end of tail pieces shed that can be a bit of a shock if you come home and see a hand or tail 'dismembered' - what a relief when you realise its just a shed!!!

while they are growing the will shed a fair bit

is it ok if they eat there shed? mine do this when they mistake it for food
