For some reason my bearded dragon is brown or dark during the day and at night time his is yellow/ orange. the hot end of the tank is about 33, cool end is about 26. could that be the issue? iv had him since he was 4 months old and his now almost a year. he doesnt eat green only bananas. but he eats a lot of roaches about 5-6 once a day

That's weird, most dragons colour up in the day when it's hot.
Your heat could go up to at least 38-44 basking spot. It's also not recommended to feed banana as an everyday, just as an occassional treat - better to make him do without - have u tried carrots, bokchoy etc? Ensure your feeders are being fed the greens so at least your beardie is getting some sort of dietary needs. Do u get him outside for natural sunlight at all?

ur dragon is turing itself dark to absorb more heat cos its temps are way too low,...

temps around 40 like lolly said,...
