My central laid a clutch of 10 eggs two weeks ago. Since then she has laid what can be best described as large baked beans, perhaps 2 every couple of days. Can any body tell me what these are.? Should i remove her from the male to give her a break as i suspect over mating could pose a health risk to her.

I'm also curious as well about this as my two beardies are matting what are the chances of some of the eggs being fertile if your beardies haven't been cooled for long ? Has any one had this happen at all and have any eggs hatch ? And redog did you incubate the first 10 eggs mate ?

Mike I did not get the eggs into a incubator, missed my window of opportunity.
Zoojas Im not sure what slugs are,I will get some photos up tomorrow.

Sel She is not showing any signs of being gravid, she is other wise healthy, active and still feeding well.

I am trying, unsuccessfully to upload some pics,. My wife took a sample down to the place we brought her ( a reputable reptile store ), they suggested that it as unviable eggs. While there she purchased a book written by Darren Green that does have some usefull information on the subject.

Hopefully this will work

I can only guess her age but she is a bit of a veteran. The store we got her from said she was a "good breeder" so I guess she has been around the block a few times. Our male is still having a go at her now, hopefully with the temps being gradually dropped down in the tank things should be a bit quieter for her. If this fails I will separate them.
