I am looking into building an incubator, nothing too big, out of a polystyrene box (as I have one handy). I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions in regards to heating, and also what type of thermostat to use. I am considering using heat cord buried in a couple of cm's of sand, and perhaps adding a small fan as well to circulate heat. Ideas?
Also, what is everyones thoughts on containers for keeping the eggs? Vermiculite ,or eggs sitting on "egg crate" raised above water?
I have noticed my two milli getting a bit cosy together and I thought I should start preparing.
