can i put a band-aid on her leg ?

hey all, one of my acckies has a small cut on one of her front legs. think she got in a fight with a horney male (maybe). LOl :twisted: perhpas she wasnt in the mood that day..

anyways..here is a pic of the cut, wat do i do to help it heal up quicker ?

dosnt look to bad, skunk,i woould not use a bandaid for fear of it being eaten..betadene and observation...and fresh air

yep second that-topical betadine is the one to use...dab a bit on the cut couple times a day and see how it's looking in 3 days and reassess!!!

Also try to avoid letting any debris get in the cut.

if you got the space i would consider another cage with newspaper only as well, just so it can heal with nuttin gettin in it

If you can get it try some Duoderm paste. Its plastic skin but you put it on with spatula(tiny). Dont use spray or liquid on plastic skin as it will sting. Some vets carry itas do doctors. Cant seem to get it from chemists.
Wounds do heal better when covered.
