General Description
l have 1 adult Desert Sand Monitor, that was originally collected on permit from the wild, in Alice Springs NT Region in 1995 by Greg Fyfe, as part of a breeding program.

He his eating weaner rats adult mice and day old chickens, he has no injury or scaring on any part of his body, nor is he missing any part of he's tail-toes-claws, he can be a little on the aggressive side at times, especially when it comes to feed time.

l think he would be far better of going to a home, where someone who already has a female or 2 Desert Sand Monitor, thats wants to get some new blood-line for their collection.

l'm only willing to sell him to a private keeper, who has experience in handling medium or large Monitor's, they must have a enclosure that is no smaller than 10 foot square with 3 to 4 foot high walls, if its outside depending on where the buyer is located, it must have heating built into it for warmth.

l am willing to freight at buyers expense, even those l would prefer to see it go to someone local.
