Hi guys,
I have recently moved my southern angle headed dragons into a small unit with smoke alarms in every room which are connected to each other (when one alarms, they all alarm.)
They go off at least 1-2 times per week over nothing and I have been concerned about they effect they might have on my dragons.
I know smoke alarms are irritating so it is not surprising that they react, but I have heard that smoke alarms can be detrimental to the general health of some animals or even cause problems such as infertility or behavioral changes.
I am wandering if it would be worth removing the battery of the alarm closest to their enclosure (provided it does not have backup power)
If anyone has knowledge on this topic please share it with me!
Cheers
