For anyone that may be interested, there is an EnduroX being held at The Caves (near Rockhampton) on December 19th. (If you wish to enter & race, the entries need to be in by the 14th.) It will be awesome to see, this style of dirt bike racing is new to Australia & this will be the first time it's held in QLD. For those that aren't sure what EnduroX is, it's basically a track similar to supercross with tabletops & other jumps, but it also has obstacles similar to what an Enduro racer might have to ride - bigs logs, rocks, water, sand, tractor tyres etc. Kirk Hutton is supposed to be racing as well as some other top Enduro riders, & rumour is at the moment that Josh Strang is coming over for the event too. For anyone who is interested in this sort of racing, it will be an awesome event with trial bike demos, displays, fireworks show etc etc - a great day out for the WHOLE family. Main event (finals) start at 7pm, but practice & qualifying races will be held after riders briefing which is at 11 am. Camping available - BYO drinking water.
