Fake plants etc

Just wondering where people get their fake plants. pet stores seem overpriced and low on variation. are there any dangers to buying fake plants elsewhere? obviously i would watch out for wire or sharp plastic edges. but what about chemicals and stuff?

hi.. we got all of our fake plants from our local cheap shop.. or the nexted best place is EBAY dirt cheap... and no all the fake plant should not be dangerous but dont put them in the snakes/animals drink water just incase. hope this helps.... teenie2

Don't know if you guys have these stores but they usually have a good range of artificial plants cheaply here in the West

The thing I like about fake plants is that if your little friend poos on them, you can just give them a nice wash in warm soapy water and they're all fresh again and you don't have to worry if a plant is poisonous or not....easy...and yes, any $2 shop, Coles or Woolies....places like that....it doesn't matter if it's cheap. I have some artificial ivy in with my little bloke, it's just for him to hide in if he wants to...and makes the viv look a little nicer. You can use as much or little as you like.
