Feeding green tree frogs

How many large crickets should you feed adult green tree frogs and how often?

We feed ours every 2nd night, mostly with Speckled feeder Roaches and sometimes crix. One pinkie mouse once a week per frog. The bigger frogs eat about 3 to four roaches or crix. Hope that helps David Cheers Cheryl

I feed mine 5 or 6 lrg roaches/crickets each every 4 days or so, dusted with calc and hertavite. They are greedy guts and will eat till the roaches are lookin out their mouth if you let em. I also throw in moths now n then too, they love to hunt and they get excersize too! Mealies are ok on occasion, prefrably just after molt while they are pale and soft, not too many.
A tip on hand feeding, fingers are best if your not squeamish, if you use plastic tweezers, ALWAYS hold the tweezers VERTICALLY, never horizontally. Frogs launch themselves, mouths wide straight over the tweezers, this can damage internally. Have fun. :wink:

Snails work well too. I have to take them out of the shell for them though, lazy buggers.

You should feed them aprox. 20% of there body weight a week total spread over 2-3 feeds.
