Field herping in Ipswich area Qld - ideas???

Hi all - do you know of any areas around Ipswich/Lockyer Valley area that are good for spotting reptiles??
My boys and I love to get out and have a look at reptiles in their habitat, take photos etc. Pythons and lizards would be great ... any ideas, guys??
