I don’t keep snakes but love the black headed python but can’t keep any as my wife has a fear of them from growing up on a farm in Philippines where they still had 20+foot man eating reticulated pythons and cobras. In my younger days I was a snake catcher so grew up learning a lot about them. I regularly take my 9, 12 and 15 year olds out herping and teach them about how to look for and handle reptiles. Nowadays I specialise in blue tongue lizards.
Taking the boys to Big Dessert, Wyperfield and Little Dessert for a week of herping hope to show interested people pictures of what we find.
