It is a wild snake and you've put it in an enclosure. It's never experienced being put in an enclosure or being fed frozen food. That's probably why it isn't eating. You should probably let it go

Uh Oh.....

What state are you in? You may want to check with the local laws to see if it is legal to keep wildcaught reptiles.

Best thing for the snake is to release it.

it wouldn't be eating probably because it's stressed in being a small environment. It's a wild snake, it looks healthy, let it go so it can do it's own thing.
nice find though.

you're worried about getting bitten, and you want to keep it?? I don't think you're ready for one. I think it's illegal, too, to catch a wild snake, a venomous one at that, and keep it.
p.s. also, it's venom ;)

this can be fixed in 5 easy steps :D

step 1.look on the net for airline tickets to tasmania

step 2.buy a house

step 3.go online apply for a free herpotology permit

step 4. go and catch your self a tiger snake

step 5. enjoy

Why would anyone in their right mind buy a ticket to Tasmania let alone buy a house there?.. :p

It would be feeding on skinks and frogs at that size. & as others say its is totaly against the law to remove and keep wild snakes without proper permits. So it would be best to release it.
