I just got my first 2 levi levi knob tails yesterday.
I was wondering when they dig burrows, do they like to leave the burrow opening clear? or do they cover it up a bit?

My one has dug a burrow and was being good by clearing the entrance of residue sand, but the further it has gone in it has stopped clearing the sand, now it has blocked the entrance by about 5 cm with residue and is now just sitting inside and turning around once in awhile. (it dug next to the glass so i can see what it is doing).

Should i leave it be or should i help clear out the entrance a bit. It wont suffocate will it?

well i cleared the entrance, it went out side for a walk, then went back into the burrow and blocked it again :lol:

I guess i'll leave it be then, little brat.

My other levi hatchling is just chilling out in a hide on the damp area

During winter they will sit insode a blocked up burrow for 3 months, no worries.
