Hey guys,

So as you know I have had a Marbled gecko egg layed from my female about 2 months ago. and now when I candle it (not rotating it in the process) the baby in the egg is moving ever so slowly, is this normal?

yeah sounds fine to me i wouldn't candle it to much just to be safe

Thanks JK888, dose that mean its going to hatch soon?, or is it still a long way away?.

ok you can delete them, I just want to know if I'm looking after it right.

The egg sounds fine. It moves when you candle it, because the light is annoying it. You only need to candle an egg to make sure it's alive (which yours is), don't candle it to much. Leave it alone until it hatches. You should only need to check it for mould from this stage on.

i cant say for sure if it is going to hatch but given the times you have provided no it shouldn't hatch soon , best thing you can do is look in the incubator every day until you see a little gecko =D
