gday all, i bought home a juvie gipsland water dragon sunday arvo and have offered it small crickets three times since, but not once has it shown interest, have also offered small woodies, is this behavior normal (my ridgetailed eats as soon as the food hits the ground) if so, how long till i should be worried, also any advice would be brilliant

when i bought my young gippys home they were to shy to eat in front of me. maybe urs are the same. i used to chuck the food in and walk away. sure enough they eat if u r outa site. just count up how many crix u put in there so u can count them later to make sure they are eating
