I would have thought using gloves with hatchys would make it harder to feel the snake therefore making it more likely to be injured by rough handling
Besides a hatchy is hardly going to hurt you

do you use glove peter

D

I use a glove on occasions. Recently had an allergic reaction to a redbelly bite. I now use a soft leather driving glove on my left hand when needing to head small elapids.
Its saves me from nicks and I have ample handling experiences dont need to be concerned with placing to much pressure on the animal. I also use nitrile gloves when treating injuries, for quarantine and thick leather gloves for larger monitors.
I dont use gloves for general handling or catching..
Where needs be.
