Hey every1 i have a click clack witha 5 watt reptile one heat mat that for some reason doesnt seem to be working right. it is connected to a thermostat and doesnt seem to producing a constant heat the hot end is jumping from 28 all the way to 34. here are some pics. anyone else have this problem or know what i can do to fix it.

Also is a pic of my new guy nippy.

heya , have u tried polystyrine between mat and tub ? i found that by adding a sheet of 8mm foam on top of the heatmat, it absorbed the heat and maintained a more even temp.
