Heating for Variegata

Hey, not exactly a herp related nightmare, but just wondering what kind of heating I should give to a near juvenile northern carpet I'm getting fairly soon. I live on the Sunshine Coast, near the ocean, and already have a wide variety of heatmats, but looking for advice. Any useful general advice on keeping Variegata would also be greatly appreciated.
