Hey there everyone, i'm sorta new here. i'v been into reptiles, amphibions and fish for about 30 yrs, over that time i'v had blue tounges, shinge backs, jackie lizards, bearded dragons, cunningham skinks, eastern water dragons, gecko's, white lipped snakes and have just adopted a 7 ft olive python which unfortunatly has been not well looked after.
if anyone could help out with a little info it would be a huge help .... problem: olive has not been fed well is under weight and will only feed on chickens (small ones) i have just purchased some medium rats which i plan on rubbing chicken all over, then trying to get him to feed on and hopefully go from there.

any ideas?

thanks chris :D

thanks for the fast reply, i do have a heat mat going and good lighting, enclosure running temp is between 25/30, he is alot more active now than when i first got him. his lights were all blown and he had no water :(
he seems a lot happier now than when i first got him and he handles realy well, its a shame that people can treat animals like that....

thanks again
