She's a bit of a handful at the moment. Picked her up at Adelaide Airport(flew her in from Perth) last Wednesday and brought her up to Renmark on Thursday. Bluedog is 14mths old and has had to be rehomed through the Australian Cattledog Association, as her owners have been posted to Dubai and cannot take her. She's still settling in and we've worked out that she is a very good watchdog(watchout Reptile Robbers LOL!), loves women, not real keen on men, doesn't like raw meat, hasn't been socialised much with other dogs(beats up any female dogs that stray onto the property), and really hasn't had a lot of Obedience Training. I guess we'll have our work cut out after this initial settling in period eh? But all in all she is a lovely doggie, and should be a good mate for us. Cheers Cheryl

Ohh cute. I hope BlueDog settles in quickly! :) My uncle keeps Blue Cattle Dogs, has done for many years. His stud dog, Banjo, went Australian Champion a few years back. Lovely dogs.

my dogs crazy and freaks out if your wearing something she hasnt seen you in before or if you walk around with a doona over your shoulders lol or sunnies etc shes CrAzY!! but bloody cute

nice blue. I grew up with cattle dogs and although the majority were great loyal mates, some were just down right dangerous when it came to strangers or if you looked different, my cousins had a red girl and if you didn't arrive in their car she would tear you a new one very nasty lil bugger but doing her job just the same. goodluck with your new edition

beautiful! my family dog when i was growing up was a blue heeler x staffy! she was the best dog ever! so your girl should settle in nicely! they are an extremely intelligent breed! :) all the best with her!

awesome! go the cattles! i got a red girl a few months back now and she's the lovliest thing on earth. sleeps all day and loves cuddles :) infact if u walk anywhere near her she just rolls over hehe

Nice dog, the Cattles are great watch dogs too, and belive me their bite is even worse than their bark. I got bitten on the ankle years ago by a Cattle getting out of my car, (didn't see him sneak underneath after I parked), I now know why the cattle move real fast when they are latched onto.

Bluedog has been trying to round up the Racing Pigeons in the aviary this morning. Racing from one end to the other on the outside which makes em fly back and forth. Little bugga! Have to get her out of that habit.

We have one of them, great dogs, very loayal (well ours is) she's coming up 12 this year i think.
