Went for herp after the Scails n Tails expo , out in the Fassifern valley ( to the south west of Ipswich ) . Here's a taste of a little point and shoot fun had with an el-cheapo camera .

Hey Brett great shots.
Does your headlamp get used in replacement of a flash or with it. Somebody recently posted a pic of their setup which was a maglite on a flash bracket type setup.

I use the head torch and flash to light up any subjects.

Yeah, look as if someone stood on the log squashing the mid section into the ground, the log was only small, a couple of KGs in weight

just a basic Nikon DSLR, nothing too flash for me

Nice shots brett! I use to use the head lamp method for lighting but now prefer a handheld led torch!
