herping spots

hi all just thought i might ask were there are any good herping spots around the shoalhaven area ive borrowed a friends d slr camera so i wanna go get some good shots thanks all

you wont get any given to you, people dont really give out spots, just try a nice bit of bush that is relatively undisturbed, if you flip rocks make sure you put them back, remember in national parks this is illegal. I have heard it is good along the river for yellow faced whip snakes.

Doods, you're in Nowra, just head into Moreton National Park, beautiful area. Lots of things you might run into.

I have looked around the bush around nowra dood,you woul'd find more life in a desert.

Seeing Australian deserts are the centres of reptile biodiversity I would expect to see more herps in the desert than in Nowra, however there are a lot of cool critters to be found in the Shoalhaven region.
