Hi i am Jonathan from Perth.

I dont have any exotic pets at the moment.

I am interested on getting an Australian Tarantula, either the Sarina, Goliath or Crassipes

whats the best way to go about getting one?

That's right...unfortunately, here in WA we can't have inverts.... :-(

DEC says you cant keep them but there is no regulation signed or dated stating WA is not allowed to keep Inverts as pets.. thats what they dont want you to know.
A good number of people keep inverts as pets in WA, I know a pet shop in the Perth metro imported a loads of Goliath Stick Insects from VIC and was selling them for around 3 months until DEC found out and told the owner that the stick insects can not leave the shop.
You see the odd ad in the paper, people selling baby stick insects.
