I went to the australian reptile park in somersby the other day and noticed something fairly odd. in the pits that you notice pretty much as you walk in they have red bellys housed with water dragons, skinks and turtles. and not that i know my vens but something im fairly sure was a tiger snake was crawling over a blue tongue and they didnt seem to take notice of each other...

i just found this fairly odd as if a private keeper did this and let the kind fellows on APS know they would get flamed hard.

what are your views on this.

cheers.

yeah they have been doing it for years. and seem to live quite happily together.
i am pretty sure them guys know what they are doing so i am all for it but i am sure they are pretty particular which snakes they place in there, for example, captive bred fed large amounts and only ever fed on rodents.

but yeah if a amateur tried to do it, i am sure it would end terribly.
cheers Dayle
