How to get a profile picture

Hi Im new and would like to have a profile picture but don't know how.
Can anyone tell me how to up load one?
I have uploaded pictures for album.

Select "Settings" at the top right hand corner.
Select "Edit profile picture" left hand index.
Select "upload file" > choose your required image.

If your referring to Avatar

Select "edit avatar"
select "upload file" > choose your required image.

PS. Avatar is the thumbnail image displayed next to your name in forum posts.
