Hunter Valley Zoo

Has anyone here been out to the Hunter Valley Zoo.
I went yesterday. It was pretty cool. I went there about five year ago and it was really crappy but the new owners have really fixed it up. It looks great.
They have lace monitors, perentie, shingle backs, blue tongues, red bellies, beardies, heaps of birds, monkeys, kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, koalas,bambi and heaps more. They are getting a croc soon! Great family day out they have barbecues and a picnic area. Pretty cheap too.

Jason Pearson who owns Hunter Valley Zoo has done a great job fixing the place up. It needed some major work when he took it over and he has done well getting it to where it is today. Small zoo, but privately run and well looked after, great for a day trip out to Cessnock.
