One of our coastal carpet females was not well in winter and had a lung infection that we noticed when she was in the aviary.
We took her to the vet and had the appropriate treatment and kept her inside for the rest of winter.........but would not eat anyhting.....she was not happy being stuck inside so when it warmed up we put her back out in the aviary. We had not seen her for weeks (she is in with others) I'd say at least three months.....and last night lo and behold she was out.....a bit thin but looked great and she ate a rat.
I am just sooo happy when it all turns out good and I just had to share it!
