I took these pics of a frog a freind of mine has, i am pretty sure its a common spotted marsh, (Limnodynastes tasmaniensis)

The red pigment along its dorsal stripe is incredible! I have seen yellow and orange stripes in this species but not this red!

The red does not change with enviroment or food, its always just this red.

there is a very similar photo on the Frankston City Council site, apparently they can be stripes with red, yellow or no stripe.cute frog though
