I bought some beautiful aged Bonsai from the Melbourne Bonsai show, when the Bonsai master from Japan came to town, they were stunning and very expensive,i then went to central australia for 6 months as part of a circus training troupe visiting isolated indigenous communities-another story-anyway i came home and alas my housemate just doesnt have even a slightly green thumb,at least i got to keep the nice pots.

A friend of mine tried turning a bottle tree into a bonsai, but then got sent to perth. We planted it in my back yard if it survives it's going to be one weird tree. He had it raised out of the ground using rocks.
