I gave my first clutch perches in their tubs, some of them used it, some of them didn't. The second clutch I haven't given perches and it doesn't seem to bother them. My adults use their perches to bask under the light and sometimes to sit in a hunting position, but a lot of the time they are curled up on the floor.
Could someone who has experience in sexing juvenile RSP please let me know the mean depth by probing subcaudal scales for both males and females? Would be greatly appreciated.
