Common scaley foot, Pygopus lepidopodus.
Good find :)

geographically around abouts where did you find that pygopus in sydney?

i found one the other night near mount colah on the edge of road
and i found another one a few days ago dead by the side of the road aswell

Neat looking animal. Can't beat the 'Checkered' or 'Lozenge' patterned animals though.

There are heaps of Burtons up your way Ryan. On the roads at night out in the sticks. Was there last week mate.

i found it on the road at eberniezer, near lower portland

Is there anyone out there who breeds legless lizards? (Scaley foot) I have heard they only eat spiders....is this true or do other who have them feed them other items of food?
thanks
rosemary
