Losing Color

So recently got given a Knobbed tailed gecko, and it had kinda dark colours on it, though I noticed today, mainly lower down on his body he seems to be getting lighter, and im just concerned if this is him getting sick, or is it stressed related due to being in a new home (same enclosure) but i know they do stress out easy.

It would probably help if I actually posted some pics, so i'll do that tomorrow so you guys can kinda see what I mean. But if anybody could tell me whats going on, cos like he's acting fine its just the colour which is concerning me.

He could be just shedding. They also change colours from day to night and can also change colours as they get older.
