Well, hi everyone!

After my searches i found some Painted Dragons, these specimens where bred from Richard Walkers collection, these pictures do not do their bueaty justice. These are my 5 little babies I picked up last night from the airport, after all the excitement for the past week they have arrived and are finally home! I will be using these in a breeding program in the future. These pictures are here to show how cool this species (Ctenophorus. Pictus) is and how nice Rick Walkers animals are.
They are all different sizes, the biggest one out of the 5 is the one pictured first and there is a size comparison picture too.

You lucky, lucky bugger! They're absolutely fantastic! Jeez RW has some nice animals, eh! You must be doing backfli.ps of joy - I know I would be!
If I can ask, what sort of husbandry do they require? Are they much different to keeping other dragons?
Cheers for sharing the pics mate,
Nic

No Probs, Well they are very very similar to Netted Dragons, however at this stage i am unsure of them temps...i emailed Rick last week regarding temps, seems no reply anyone Positive on temperatures, i understand they are a high temp dragon so my guess is about 30-35oC?

They are easily housed in a 3ft tank, they like to have space so im giving them a 4ft. The males are very deffensive, they are low humidity dragons.
They dont like to climb so branches are not a necessity. And they are a very very very and i mean very fast lizard, lol. Which is why handling is not the best idea.

theyre soo cute!

can u post some more pix, pleeease!!?

More Pics, as Requested.

Didn't want to bother the others so i just got the 1 out. Sorry for the bad pics.

theyre great, i dont think ive seen them before!!
thanks for teh extra pix!! :p

i wish i could get hold of some, lucky find, i hope they do well for you jinin, if there are any more out there please let me know.
Although i only know what i have read about them. I would raise the basking spot to 40oC, and provide them with a merc vapour or 10.0 and 2.0 fluro tubes to give them all the uva and uvb they require. Im sure others will say just use a halogen, but i just prefer to get the uvb into them also. love them, just love them

Cool little guys! That 2nd pic (in the 2nd lot) is neat.
