I have 2 Black Soil Beardies, both 6 months old. One is eating everything - fresh greens, frozen veggies, pellets, crickets & woodies.

The other has been eating all these as well, up until 2 wks ago. Now he will have nothing to do with insects at all. Even tried stalving him to try and get him interested - had no effect. Really pigging out on fresh greens, frozen veggies and Repcal juvenile pellets though.

He appears to be well, is very active and alert and is still puting on weight.

Should I be worrying about this, or can he survive on this diet.

Any ideas people???

hahahaha thats the first time ive ever heard of a vegetarian lizard, usually its the other way around. When mine were only eating crix an mealys i would take the legs off the crix an put them in the veges, in hope that they would eat the veges by accident and discover they were edible. It worked after a while so maybe you could try the same thing to get it eating insects again???
