Just thought I'd post a couple of pics of some wild herps I encountered at Australia Zoo, the zoo sucked, I was more interested in the water dragons running around

Hush, it's a taipan. Any good news reporter will tell you that. They like to hide in gates to ambush humans just because they are evil.

Looks like a baby green tree snake..why did the zoo suck?

I guess I was expecting more, judging things by melbourne zoo and healesville sanctury. I really wanted to see some of the herps up close, but the only demonstration was in a huge amphitheatre where you couldn't see anything. Also thought the enclosures and layout was a bit lacking. Worth a visit if you happen to be up there.
