Hi All
Im designing an outdoor enclosure on some spare land behind the shed. What measurements would you recommend for the outer fence -height and depth.
I intend keeping water and bearded dragons, a few skinks and turtles.
Cheers

I'd say about 1.4 - 1.5m fence height should be fine, about 45cm underground. I use less than that height and have had no problems with Water Dragons, Bearded Dragons, Lace Monitors and a Heath Monitor (and all have tried...including the male Lacie launching off a tree to try and jump over the fence).

Featherdale Wildlife Park uses a similar height for Water Dragons and Lace Monitors (possibly even smaller if my memory serves me correctly) with apparently no probs.
