Outdoor monitor enclosure

Im currently building a cage for my spencers monitors and i want to know how high i need to make the solid part of the side to avoid nose rubbing or other problems?

I currently have about 400mm(2 besser blocks) will that be good enough? or will i need to have ply above that before the mesh starts?

I will be using heavy gauge 1/2" mesh.

600mm is the usual height most people use I think...also materials are generally available in 600 or 1200mm widths, so it works out well mathematically.
